Google Ads Do Not Track Option To Chrome

The marvelous do not track option will enhance Chrome, Google's browser, by the end of the year. It sounds great, but Google is so mysterious about this decision, that I don't know for sure whether it was taken under the pressure of customers, not willing to know that every move is followed on the Internet or it was a simple measure for a brighter future.

According to a spokesman, Google undertook to honor an agreement on DNT reached with the White House early this year. To do that, the users will come across a visible setting in Chromium developer channel.

For the moment, Google didn't provide any precise date about the availability of DNT option, but when it does finally appear on the horizon, users will be able to enter Chrome's settings and select Do Not Track, at least this is how it should run. Once those settings have been saved, Chrome will send a message to every website that some user, meaning you, visiting it, doesn't want to be tracked. Google isn't very happy about this measure and as consequence, won't speak much about it. Remember that Chrome is the last of the major Web browsers to include a DNT option.

Both Firefox and Internet Explorer have already given users the option to apparent freedom, but Google is based on online marketing (showing you more relevant, interest-based ads), so it's caught in the middle: on one hand, trying to lure companies to invest in marketing tools, on the other hand, forced by authorities to respect private life.
